Utah Board of Water Resources has obtained a preliminary permit from FERC to study the possibility of 443MW hydro project that would use the 135-mile water pipeline from Lake Powell to the Sand Hollow reservoir. FERC issued the preliminary permit in Feb 2008.Issues
