Under the Commission's new Integrated Licensing Process [0], any study dispute will receive a formal hearing by a three-member panel. The panel will consist of:
- A Commission staff member
- A representative of the Tribe or resource agency that raised the study dispute
- A technical expert on the subject
The panel then makes a recommendation as to whether or not the disputed studies are required.
The Commission has initiated a drive to find technical experts [1] in all hydropower-relevant fields that will serve on these study dispute panels. There is no deadline for applications.
If you qualify as an expert in a relevant scientific field, please sign up.
