Cushaw

Description

The Cushaw Project consists of a 1,550-foot-long, 27-foot-high reinforced concrete dam, that impounds a 138-acre reservoir.  The project is located on the James River, in Bedford and Amherst Counties, Virginia.

Earlier today, FERC issued a 30-year license to Dominion Virginia Power for continued operation of Cushaw hydroelectric project on the James River in Virginia.
