Description
The Price Dam Project would use the Corps' existing Melvin Price Locks & Dam and reservoir (known as Pool 26). The project would use multiple turbine-generating units in six generating modules that can be easily lifted out of the water during flood flows to reduce damage to the units or to allow responsibilities at the MP Locks & Dam.
The original license was obtained by Price Dam Partnership Limited but transferred to Brookfield Power in October 2007.
