Keith has over ten years of experience working with environmental and social justice non-profits in the Bay Area conducting policy advocacy, coordinating coalitions, and managing programs. He has also worked in Sri Lanka coordinating a coastal resources management project and in Fiji assessing the environmental impacts of plantation forestry. Ms Lindsey PernellOutreach Coordinator Berkeley, CA lpernell dot com --> at calhrc dot org 510-251-1364 Lindsey started with CHRC in April of 2005. As the Outreach Coordinator she works closely with the Stewardship Council’s Youth Investment Committee to better draw the connection between healthy rivers and their benefit to today’s youth. She also does outreach to CHRC’s coalition members, general members and other groups to further CHRC’s mission.
Lindsey comes to CHRC after working for Friends of the River as the Outreach Coordinator where she managed their volunteers to run a grassroots, conservation-based rafting program. Lindsey graduated with a degree in Environmental Education and Social Ecology from California State University, Chico. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast as she enjoys boating, backpacking, running, cycling and rock climbing. She also loves the adventure of international travel and has spent significant time exploring Central and South America.
